From delivering Christmas Boxes in Invercargill to providing life-changing skills and a pathway out of the poverty cycle in QES - everyday our LIFE Community team is committed to bringing Help and Hope to our communities.

There are many families in New Zealand who have immediate needs that they are unable to meet. The Giving Store and our partner organisations work hard to identify those needs constantly. You can play a part in making a difference to these families by purchasing a pack through The Giving Store. 100% of your donation will go towards the cost of the items, which we source and distribute directly to those in need through our trusted partner organisations. 

What once started as a local initiative, delivering gift-wrapped food boxes to neighbouring families during the holidays, Christmas Box now supplies food essentials and treats to over a hundred thousand people every year across New Zealand, Australia and Cook Islands.

Meeting an ever increasing need in our communities, Christmas Box brings more than just food in a time of need, but it also provides a reminder of hope that a community cares, that is something we can't put a price on. We believe that by bringing hope to the table, the lasting impact goes beyond a treat at Christmas

Every day at the Mission, we respond to poverty and great need in our city. People come to us when they need access to permanent and sustained housing, enough nutritious food to eat, and when their physical and mental health is compromised.

Some people access the Mission’s services to help them through a short and difficult time in their life. Others need a sustained and long-term plan for support. We offer support for however long and in whatever way needed – for some people that’s simply accessing one of our many services, for others that’s a complex journey with our full support.
