Under current NZ regulations, my focus is squarely on your total financial well-being. This means I don't just "find a deal"; I ensure every recommendation is tailored to your unique life stage and designed to put your best interests first.

Raised in a farming community in the Mid-North, Michael developed a tireless work ethic and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to life. After completing his electrical apprenticeship and a "return of service", Michael set out to explore New Zealand. He eventually settled in Rotorua, where he and his wife, Cathy, put down roots, bought their first home, and raised their three children.

For over 20 years, Michael and Cathy owned and operated a successful electrical service company. A career highlight for Michael was mentoring 30 apprentices through the various stages of their trades.

Four years ago, Michael transitioned into the financial sector. Having earned his Level 5 and Level 6 certifications, he is fully qualified to provide expert advice across domestic and commercial lending and risk insurance.

When he isn’t helping clients secure their futures, Michael is likely maintaining his lifestyle block, volunteering for local pest control, or fishing. He enjoys caravanning with Cathy (his wife of 27 years), supporting his grown children in their pursuits, and chasing a golf ball around the local course and occasionally into the rough!
