I have worked passionately in the finance industry for over 30 years, been employed by two major banks during this period, and been an independent Mortgage Adviser since February 2017. Without a doubt, I have the experience to help you secure the loan you need. I work for you and not the banks! I'll communicate with you on time, every time so your property transaction becomes stress-free and the exciting new project it should be. I started with Loanmarket at the beginning of 2019 and for Paulette specifically in March of that year. My working career started with ANZ in Whakatane, way back in 1987, before leaving in 1996 to raise my three boys.  After a stint living in Singapore I returned to the Bay of Plenty and started work with Westpac Whakatane in 2011 before transferring to Howick branch until Loanmarket knocked on my door.

In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, both weight training and 9Rounds, and have recently found enjoyment in hiking up and down mountains with my husband Mike. Along with Mike, we enjoy watching sport & travelling, if we can combine the two, that's even better! In quiet moments I enjoy reading, catching up on my television shows, and hanging with our dog Maggie, a slightly crazy Hungarian Viszla.

I've been part of Paulette’s team at Loan Market since June 2020, bringing years of finance experience to the table. Prior to this, I spent 19 years at ANZ. In my spare time, I treasure moments with my family, relishing in their company while enjoying red wine and music. I also enjoy time with my grand daughter- we love cooking and baking together.

I started with Paulette in September 2019 and prior to that worked as Customer Services Manager and as an Insurance Broker for PIC Insurance Brokers.  Having said that, my main roles have been in the banking industry formerly with ASB, Postbank (now ANZ), and Waikato Savings Bank - thats going back a number of years!!

I love watching most sports golf, cricket, soccer, league, rugby, hockey, tennis, etc.  I have not actively participated for a number of years however I am keen to get back into tennis after a few decades...watch this space.  I love to walk to stay healthy and to enjoy the outdoors plus I'm an avid reader - more on crime/action stories but happy to read recommended books or biographies.

I joined Paulette’s team in October 2020 after several years in real estate administration, most recently as an EA to a Ray White director overseeing 30 agents. Before that, I worked in accounts for a commercial building company and spent around 10 years as a business and home lender with ANZ.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me chasing after my two kids, on a squash court, at boxing, or on the soccer field. I’m also a big fan of small home-improvement projects whenever time allows.

I’ve been with Loan Market since 2013, but my mortgage journey kicked off even earlier at Westpac - first in the branch network, then approving broker applications at head office (yep, I’ve seen both sides of the desk!).

Then in 2019 we made the move back to Hawke’s Bay. These days, I work remotely from our lifestyle block, juggling home loans, three kids, and the occasional rogue chicken, lamb or cow - all while supporting Paulette and her clients with top-notch advice and behind-the-scenes magic.
